The Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation for music studies, founded in Venice in 1962, works in the framework of research, conservation and promotion of interdisciplinary and international music opera and materials.
Gianni Milner Library, that is part of the Foundation, hosts an extraordinary music heritage of nineteenth-century handwritten and printed documents, comprising a vast collection of scores and music texts, and it is one of its kind. Moreover it contents microfilm and microfiches on several opera. All its materials are available thanks to multimedia supports.
Area of interest: Cooperation projects in cultural and educational framework. Especially referring: cultural heritage protection, promotion and dissemination (i.e. restoration and catalogue activities); workshop, conference and event on heritage music; events on Jewish culture and music valorisation.
