Automotive Regions - crucial to success!
Automotive industry and supply industry are facing enormous challenges. Latest data given by ACEA confirms our concerns on the effect the pandemic shows. Over the first half of 2020 EU demand for new passenger cars contracted by 38,1%. Automotive regions face job losses and high pressure on public budgets in a period when automotive industry urgently needs to invest in green transformation. We are bringing together EU-Budget Commissioner Johannes HAHN, five political leaders from automotive and supply regions and industry representatives to discuss the actual situation as well as possible ways to make the green transformation a success.
